Mike Wilhoit
President
ike is a pharmacist that works to solve problems by being innovative in his approach to business and caring for others. After spending a number of years working in community retail pharmacy, Mike realized there was a need to bridge the gap between the level of service found in his community retail pharmacies and what was found in the industry for a “closed door” long-term care pharmacy. His realization led him to found Mac’s LTC Pharmacy to bridge that gap. He provides this high level of service by working to develop strong relationships between his pharmacy and senior living communities. He views his customers as partners, and strives to make their partnerships more personal. Mike also commits to offer the highest level of technology, education and pharmacy solutions in the country.
Mike was awarded most innovative pharmacist in the state of Tennessee and has lead Mac’s Pharmacy to become the recipient of the Small Business Excellence Award for Knoxville, TN. Nationally, Mike has helped lead Mac’s LTC Pharmacy in being named to the Inc. 5000 list for fastest growing private companies in America and Mac’s Pharmacy in being recognized by Cardinal Health for best practices for leading change in community pharmacy.
In his spare time, Mike has served in various capacities for the Tennessee Pharmacist Association, including chair of the Society of Independent Pharmacy. Mike also serves on numerous civic boards including The O’Connor Senior Center. Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Loren, and their three kids Harper, Cooper, and Hudson.
Mike holds a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy.
